Thanks for your report. This was triggered by an upstream commit that reorganized how module compression works (https://git.kernel.org/linus/c7ff693fa2094ba0a9d0a20feb4ab1658eff9c33). Since then a new kconfig item (i.e. MODULE_COMPRESS) is needed to get compressed modules. The result was that kernel modules are not compressed any more in the Debian package. The next upload of 6.12.x will again properly compress modules. Best regards Uwe
