Hello. Please pardon if this is an old topic. I have noticed that recent Debian kernels only have two choices in /sys/block/sdX/queue/scheduler. There used to be more in older kernels. A quick check indicates that there may be code for some other schedulers in the kernel.org source trees.
So, is there some reason why these additional schedulers aren't showing up on Debian 12 kernels such as 6.10.11-bpo-amd64? Do I need to insmod an additional module or set some other configuration switch? Are these other schedulers not compiled into the Debian kernels? Thanks. -Dave -- Dave Hall Binghamton University kdh...@binghamton.edu
