Package: initramfs-tools Version: 0.42 Severity: normal I gave initramfs-tools a new try on my alpha, but it failed to create a working initrd:

The qla1280 module is the right one for my rootfilesystem, the ext3 module is also loaded. I'm really interested to get initramfs-tools working on alpha, because it's not possible to upgrade from a running 2.4 kernel to a 2.6 kernel with yaird.
