Package: linux-image-2.6.14-2-powerpc Version: 2.6.14-4 Severity: normal After installing this image, I'm told:
NoLOADER sets up your system to boot Linux directly from your hard disk, without the need for booting from a boot floppy. ... and I'm asked wether I would like to have NoLOADER set up a boot block or not. I'm quite sure I'm using yaboot. To my understanding, NoLOADER is a flag for the case when no loader was found. This doesn't seem to work properly. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-2-powerpc Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages linux-image-2.6.14-2-powerpc depends on: ii mkvmlinuz 17 create a kernel to boot a PowerPC ii module-init-tools 3.2-pre9-4 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii yaird [linux-initramfs-tool] 0.0.11-12 Yet Another mkInitRD linux-image-2.6.14-2-powerpc recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
