I'm reassigning this bug to raspi-firmware, as it relates to an already known issue; the fix has been uploaded already for several weeks in unstable+testing, but I will now prepare an upload for stable as well. I'll follow up with the diff and will open a corresponding bug on release.debian.org as mentioned in [1]. Sorry for the much unintended noise. Thank you very much!
