Yes right, the missing tools was not an argument against it, just an additional indication. As you pointed out is more concerning, and hinting that we should wait a bit more to see how it evolves. Apart from Ted Ts'o comments, I looked up the mailinglist, https://lore.kernel.org/ntfs3/ which relatively quiet. The same goes for commits in fs/ntfs3 in mainline, since the merge in 5.15 there ws almost no activity, which is slightly unusual for something new entering. Regards and thank you! Salvatore
