Package: src:linux
Version: 4.9.88-1+deb9u1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer, my laptop's GPU driven by amdgpu driver seems to
randomly freeze without recognisable pattern. Using OpenGL applications
seems to increase chance of hang occuring. So far freezes do not occur
on idling computer, but happen rarely, not more than few times daily.
Freezes manifest in frozen image (mouse pointer still moves), unkillable
Xorg. SSH to computer still works, system responds to Magic SysRq commands.

There's nothing interesting in kernel log at time of GPU freeze, but
after some time "task Xorg:792 blocked for more than 120 seconds."-type
messages start popping up for Xorg and sometimes for application making
use of hardware acceleration, followed by call trace.
