Package: initramfs-tools
Version: 0.37
Followup-For: Bug #336617

Kernel 2.6.14, evms 2.3.3-6

root filesystem is on a lvm2 volume inside a md based raid, all held together
with evms.

Standard EVMS installs do not use the userspace md and lvm tools, but do
require their kernel modules, so it is not sufficient to simply chain evms
together with lvm and md using the "prereq" facility of initramfs-tools.

Here are replacement hooks and scripts, they handle the general case of
EVMS on top of anything with any segement manager. They have been tested.

I assume, eventually, that these scripts should be maintained by the evms
maintainer and they should be removed entirely from initramfs-tools (just
like we handle initrd-tools scripts), but for now, since initramfs-tools
is undergoing change, you should probably maintain these.

Nice work on initramfs-tools, I like the modularity.

Paul
