Dear Maintainer,
With 3.14, videos no longer display correctly; the display stutters
and most of the time only updates part of the screen.
Two things I've noticed...

The "wd: not connected" line repeats endessly, multiple times per
second. I've verified this across multiple reboots.
The second is that X logs EDID info multiple times per second as well,
which may be related...
3.13 works fine on the same hardware; the CPU is a Xeon E3-1245v3, on
a Supermicro X10SAE with a C226 chipset, and the screen is connected
via DVI.
