In the context of tigervnc-standalone-server and xfce4, the serial console on a Raspberry Pi 3 only prints garbage from the time of login via the serial console. Here is the original issue from the (unofficial) Debian Raspberry Image Bug Tracker: https://salsa.debian.org/raspi-team/image-specs/-/issues/44#note_229233 The bug is not included in package version 5.9.0-5-arm64. Also not included in the vendor tree (https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux (rpi-5.10.y branch). It was excluded with 2nd board, 2nd UART/USB cable as well as 2nd SD card that it is because of the hardware. Best regards, Matthias
