After boot using "systemctl hibernate" the system seems to boot normal, but the screen stays black after logging in (into user account). Every single boot from hibernation leads to a black screen since updating from jessie to stretch. The laptop is still running and I can hear sound. However I am unable to recover from the black screen without forcing a reboot. While the screen is black, I tried to switch terminals using alt+ctrl+f*. This led to a total system freeze (no sound, no response, no switching back). I tried to use alt+f2, r, enter (resetting the gnome-shell). This didn't help. I can go into suspend and wake and the screen turns on. However, there are nasty graphical glitchs, which do not disappear until I reboot the system. Also some graphical programs crash or don't start at all, while these glitches are present. For my work with debian system I require a working hibernation. Not being able to hibernate, renders the upgrade to stretch (stable) a failure. I am using a lenovo thinkpad X230t. uname -a ouput is: Linux Azurus 4.9.0-8-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.130-2 (2018-10-27) x86_64 GNU/Linux I can upload my syslog (after hibernation, wake, suspend, wake) if that helps. I couldn't get a glue from it, what is going wrong. Any advices or help are appreciated.
