thanks for finding those i take it from the commit mentioned in the latter at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108850#c1 that this is fixed in 4.19 https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?h=v4.19&id=d9d117e40d4ffc03438177eeac83d96dfeee76be but i have no idea if 4.19 is going to get into testing, which is what i'm running, before the buster release or if the kernel version has settled on 4.18 on the other hand, the commit mentioned in this comment https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108850#c6 seems to indicate it fixes the same issue for 4.18.20 but i don't know how that finds its way into the next stable release thereof, or how long that would take to make it into testing anybody know?
