Does adding the kernel parameter "ahci.mobile_lpm_policy=1" avoid this?

Can you also run these commands to get the model and revision strings
for the HD, so this can be done automatically if necessary:

cat /sys/bus/scsi/devices/1:0:0:0/model
cat /sys/bus/scsi/devices/1:0:0:0/rev
