Package: linux-image-2.6.12-1-686-smp Version: 2.6.12-6 Severity: normal All the V4L drivers are built in the default kernel config, except for the CX88. I suspect this is either because CX88 support is quite new, or because there were bugs and conflicts in the CX88 code earlier.
In 2.6.12, the CX88 code had a major update, and the stuff in the kernel now should work flawlessly. Please enable the CX88 code with CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88 Thanks! -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (650, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages linux-image-2.6.12-1-686-smp depends on: ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii initrd-tools 0.1.82 tools to create initrd image for p ii module-init-tools 3.2-pre8-1 tools for managing Linux kernel mo linux-image-2.6.12-1-686-smp recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
