PAE kernel 4.6.1-1 (available for testing¹) gets stuck at booting at the same stage that 4.5.0-2 so it seems it is not fixed. ¹https://packages.debian.org/stretch/linux-image-4.6.0-1-686-pae Greetings, -- Camaleón
