Package: firmware-misc-nonfree Version: 20160110-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I am unable to use bluetooth on my HP laptop with the following card, although the WiFi works well: 0a:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Ralink corp. RT3290 Wireless 802.11n 1T/1R PCIe [1814:3290] DeviceName: Ralink RT3290LE 802.11bgn Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Ralink RT3290LE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter [103c:18ec] This is due to a missing bluetooth driver as noted upstream: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84521 and on the Ubuntu bug tracker: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bluetooth/+bug/1189721 The latter bug report seems to suggest that there is a usable source somewhere which can be fixed to provide at least partial support for bluetooth on the card. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages firmware-misc-nonfree suggests: ii initramfs-tools 0.123
