I finally got to testing 2.6.8-2-686 next to 2.6.10 and 2.6.11 and Debian's 2.6.8-2-686 kernel doesn't work either. Logs below.
How can I be of more help in solving this problem and not just post "complaints"? :) I'd do more than just post messages if I knew where to start and where to look... Thanks. # uname -r 2.6.8-2-686 syslog: ohci1394: $Rev: 1223 $ Ben Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ohci1394: fw-host0: OHCI-1394 1.0 (PCI): IRQ=[177] MMIO=[feaff800-feafffff] Max Packet=[2048] kernel: ieee1394: Node added: ID:BUS[0-00:1023] GUID[003060f200003214] kernel: ieee1394: Host added: ID:BUS[0-01:1023] GUID[00e01800004ee7ee] kernel: SCSI subsystem initialized kernel: sbp2: $Rev: 1219 $ Ben Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> kernel: scsi0 : SCSI emulation for IEEE-1394 SBP-2 Devices kernel: ip1394: $Rev: 1224 $ Ben Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> kernel: ip1394: eth1: IEEE-1394 IPv4 over 1394 Ethernet (fw-host0) kernel: ieee1394: unsolicited response packet received - tcode mismatch kernel: ieee1394: sbp2: Error logging into SBP-2 device - login timed-out kernel: sbp2: probe of 003060f200003214-2 failed with error -16 kernel: scsi2 : SCSI emulation for IEEE-1394 SBP-2 Devices kernel: ieee1394: unsolicited response packet received - tcode mismatch kernel: ieee1394: sbp2: Error logging into SBP-2 device - login timed-out kernel: sbp2: probe of 003060f200003214-3 failed with error -16 ieee1394.agent[954]: sbp2: loaded successfully ieee1394.agent[989]: eth1394: loaded successfully dmesg: ieee1394: Initialized config rom entry `ip1394' ohci1394: $Rev: 1223 $ Ben Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ohci1394: fw-host0: OHCI-1394 1.0 (PCI): IRQ=[177] MMIO=[feaff800-feafffff] Max Packet=[2048] ieee1394: Node added: ID:BUS[0-00:1023] GUID[003060f200003214] ieee1394: Host added: ID:BUS[0-01:1023] GUID[00e01800004ee7ee] SCSI subsystem initialized sbp2: $Rev: 1219 $ Ben Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> scsi0 : SCSI emulation for IEEE-1394 SBP-2 Devices ip1394: $Rev: 1224 $ Ben Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ip1394: eth1: IEEE-1394 IPv4 over 1394 Ethernet (fw-host0) ieee1394: unsolicited response packet received - tcode mismatch -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
