Can I just add a metoo. I really don't know how to report this, because I cannot figure out what is causing it, but 2.6.8-1 is incredibly slow, even with all services turned off. Nothing is showing up as hogging memory or cycles. Even on the console, doing "su" and typing in your password takes about 15 seconds to respond.
