Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686 Version: 2.6.8-3 Followup-For: Bug #272519
I have an Inspiron 8000, and I'm seeing similar behaviour. Mostly the hang seems to happen immediately after the partition check. If I can make it work, I'll post the details here. Otherwise, consider this a confirmation of the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.0-test9 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686 depends on: ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii fileutils 5.2.1-2 The GNU file management utilities ii initrd-tools 0.1.74 tools to create initrd image for p ii module-init-tools 3.1-pre5-7 tools for managing Linux kernel mo -- no debconf information
