Just for the record, I prepared inofficial kernel-image packages of 2.6.8 with swsusp compiled in... deb http://people.debian.org/~nobse/kernel/i386/kernel-image-2.6.8-i386/ ./ As I wrote, inofficial, so don't use the Debian BTS to report bugs.
