Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686 Version: 2.6.8-2 Severity: normal My computer has an ALI5451-based sound card, PCI ID 10b9:5451. With the 2.6.7 kernel, the snd-ali5451 driver worked perfectly for me; with 2.6.8, programs appear to be able to access the sound card but no sound comes out. I've turned up all the volume levels that alsamixer shows, but with no apparent effect.
