Hi, I have uploaded kernel-source 2.4.26-6 and kernel-image i386 2.4.26-6 to debian.org. There was a minor change over the previous test packages posted to this list with regards to some symbol problems in the tg3 dirver which I was able to test myself.
A complete changelog can be found at http://debian.vergenet.net/pending/kernel-image-2.4.26-i386-2.4.26/kernel-image-2.4.26-i386_2.4.26-6_i386.changes http://debian.vergenet.net/pending/kernel-source-2.4.26-2.4.26/kernel-source-2.4.26_2.4.26-6_i386.changes And yes, it is complete. To sumarise the source changes from 2.4.26-5 to 2.4.26-6 * Fix handling of offset pointers [CAN-2004-0415] * Reversed bogus patch to parse_arg (closes: Bug#264202) * Merged device mapper patch from devmapper-1.00.19 (closes: Bug#262870) * Various updates to xfrm (IPSEC) * Update SATA with bitkeeper * Reemove non-free firmware blob from tg3.c * Merged in some sparc changes My advice is for other architectures to build against this package. I would not have bothered to release it otherwise :) The packages should now be in http://incoming.debian.org/ and if not you can find them at http://debian.vergenet.net/pending/ I will keep the later for a few days. Look for the packges dated 20-8-2004 I have not taged this release in SVN as SVN is currently down. I will do so as soon as it comes up. The only change was to update the date and change UNRELEASED to unstable. -- Horms
