Of course, sorry for omitting it.  Still, a kernel-patch package
should be prepared.  Thing is, the kernel-patch source package for
powerpc that I mentioned as an example also creates the kernel-image
binary packages.  So even if the patch was completely empty, the
package would still serve a very valid purpose.

BTW, hppa does it in a different way, having separate source packages
kernel-patch-hppa and kernel-image-hppa.
