But it worked just fine with those options (it's an always-on server, so I don't need power management features). But when I upgraded to 2.6.8-3, it wouldn't boot with those options. Or any other combination I tried (and I tried more than two dozen combinations, including none, and including other kernel options like acpi=ht and pci=noacpi).
