Package: kernel Version: 2.6.8-9 I am attempting to install Sarge on an amd64 box with an Asus A8V motherboard. When the installer attempts to load the sk98lin module (right before it would go out and look for a DHCP server) it pops up an error message saying: "Error while running 'modprobe -v sk98lin' and prompts me to continue.
Going to another terminal, I found that the error that is being thrown is: FATAL: Error inserting sk98lin (/lib/modules/2.6.8-9-amd64-generic/kernel/drivers/net/sk98lin/sk98lin.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg). dmesg says: sk98lin: disagrees about version of symbol pci_alloc_consistent sk98lin: Unknown symbol pci_alloc_consistent Thanks, Ryan Senior -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
