Package: kernel-image-2.4.27-1-386 Version: 2.4.27-6 Severity: normal Hello,
My sound driver is Advanced Logic, that uses ALS4000 chipset. The default kernel with comes with Debian 3.1 doesn't support/detect it. I already tried with kernel 2.6.7, wich I've downloaded from kernel.org, and, I activated all my driver modules, including the ALS4000, and it also doesn't work. Of course, I installed alsa packages and tried untiringly to review kernel config and run alsa-conf many times. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-1-386 Locale: LANG=pt_BR, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages kernel-image-2.4.27-1-386 depends on: ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii initrd-tools 0.1.76 tools to create initrd image for p ii modutils 2.4.26-1.2 Linux module utilities -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
