It is a known issue. I think it has been discussed on this list before, but I do not recall the thread name at the moment. AFAIR something was off with tablet detection, like in flipped around. I found that I can just type in my password no matter whether that virtual keyboard is there or not. You can of cause check whether the issue is reported on Debian bug tracker and report it there in case there is no report yet. I think it would be good to fix this issue before release of Debian 13 aka Trixie. Best, -- Martin - please no carbon copy to me
