KDE programs in general have a menu entry in the help menu to report bugs. A bug opened to debian should be looked at and forwarded upstream by a debian developer, to avoid bothering the upstream developers with bad and not so useful bug reports.
But also, the people in the KDE team on debian are few and time is limited.
If you want to help you could close all bugs that are for KDE4 or similar, and
try to reproduce the other ones and possibly close them as well.
Anyway the specific issue you reported, open a bugreport with the upstream
project. Also install the debug symbols otherwise they won't be able to help,
probably.
