Hi, i have reverted to Plasma/X11 sessions and it's all ok now. I thought, that for Plasma6 , there is wayland only, so i did not check the options in sddm until i saw email from Merlin Philippe about switching back to X11 session.
To add to point 3 about focus follows mouse - it seems, that in wayland, the window decoration/title does not count as part of window, so when i move my cursor to another window's decoration, it does not switch focus. It also does not switch focus when i move cursor to empty space/ over empty desktop - i use this heavily in my workflow - i move my cursor out of rdesktop and press F12 for yakuake or win+4 for my keepass window, but today, it was forwarded mostly to my rdesktop window, because it did not switch focus because of the different behaviour But as i said in top of mail email - switching back to X11 session type fixed all my problems, thanks everyone for bringing fresh KDE version to trixie. Are there going to be some improvements in wayland? Upgrade went smoothly for me on Trixie, but it broke my workflow 1) i cannot shade/unshade windows, which is feature i use heavily 2) sometimes there is popup about missing kio-tags 3) focus follow mouse, feels ... different, i don't know why/what's different 4) krdc which i also use heavily connecting to two windows workstations for work when i stay on version 23.08 - rdp sessions does not dock to krdc window and are free flowing - i have some random rectangles, where it blinks to black color and back to content inside session window when i upgrade to krdc version from experimental - sharing of folder on my computer does not work - when i connected first time without disabling h264 codec, the screen turns white gradually - when i press ctrl+w , it closes the rdp session instead of browser tab inside it - when i switch between the two rdp sessions, it stops registering keystrokes completely, i have to reconnect - mouse cursor does not react (change shape) to window edges inside session, very hard to resize windows So i stayed on 23.08 krdc for now.
