I use Icons and Text Window Manager and it works just fine, can't really tell a difference at the moment. I am not sure, but it may be that I just did away with the old control panel and created a new one, customizing it again. Does creating a new standard control panel lead to a working K menu? One idea would be to "killall plasmashell ; plasmashell" in a terminal window and look for output whether some QML or icons are missing. Or just look in user.log? I think that is were Systemd + Rsyslog put standard output from desktop sessions? Or with journalctl in the right Systemd unit which might be some user slice or so. Best, -- Martin
