Simple question: Does quassel need a rebuild against all QT-5.15.15 -dev packages it depends on: Yes or No? INFO: Working right now on a Windows workstation, I can test an APT full-upgrade to sid this evening on my Debian system. > > > > Just a question about quassel status: > > > > > > > > armhf + arm64 have NEW packages in D/sid. > > > > > > Not sure what do you mean ("NEW" has a special meaning in Debian and it > > > doesn't look like you meant it). > > > If you mean it had more binNMUs on those two arches then it's pretty > > > common and also unrelated. > > > > > > > NEW (armhf + arm64) = 1:0.14.0-2+b3 (see b3 - amd64 has still b2). > ^^ quassel version 1:0.14.0-2+b3 on arm* architecture is a rebuild against QT-5.15.15 -dev packages? Inspired by [1]: In any case - if rebuild of quassel is MANDATORY or not - I will try to rebuild with LLVM/Clang-19.1.3 (LTO + CFI enabled) - by updating the patch from Christian Göttsche. But my priority is the build of a selfmade Linux-kernel v6.12-rcX (rc5 or rc6 on Sunday) LTS with LLVM/Clang-19 (kCFI enabled). Thanks, Andrey for all updates around Debian development/packaging. BR, -sed@- P.S.: I provided in the late 2010ies quassel-nightly (experimental) Debian packages from my own build-environment for upstream (packages.iniza.org or apt.iniza.org). But I have no more own domains. [1] https://salsa.debian.org/qt-kde-team/extras/quassel/-/merge_requests/12/diffs?commit_id=b97aeec74b443679c958798ab55e21ea0dbe23fe
