I found that adding a new event works. So there is really something odd going on with parsing older events? I just compared briefly, the file of an older event looks very much the same. There are different file naming standards over the time, but I do have enough newer events whose files follow the same standard as the completely new one that works. I already wondered whether some missing localization / internationalization package causes a parsing failure of an event. I think I will need to file an upstream bug report about that if not already done. -- Martin - please no carbon copy to me
