Didi you try with a new User added? One month ago I renamed dot-kde and dot-config Files for my Default User. It turned out 2 packages were missing. As an alternative.
When looking at dot-config dir I remembered I Had to add KDE to dot-desktop Files of gnome-keyring-* packages as there was GNOME and XFCE listed only. Background: Required to start Skype for Linux AS the people in my Environment used it in Corona pandemy.
