KFileDialog doesn't exist since Frameworks 5. Maybe you are missing a package? The special feature are provided (if I remember correctly) by some integration layer that uses the "hooks" provided by Qt to extend the behavior. If you use Plasma, that's done by plasma-integration. Ciao -- Luigi
