I'm currently working on packaging the incoming 5.26 release and I don't feel the severity of the bug deserves being patched urgently. If you really need it fixed now you can work on the patch and provide an MR on Salsa. If the change looks reasonable I'll upload it to Debian. Happy hacking ! -- Aurélien
