Plasma devs advised me that BOTH https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kirigami/-/commit/6eaefba5001445fa7e198e4caa0bde738240d66f
and https://invent.kde.org/plasma/discover/-/commit/c9438fc383630e452cd21dd7b495c925dcc82e28 were required to fix the crash. On testing myself, this did seem to be the case.
