Thank you for your post it worked a treat. In case someone else has this
problem I used (I think) the 3rd option from "aptitude install cpp/testing
g++/testing gcc/testing gcc-5-base/testing" which was:

The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

Also I needed the 4th option from "aptitude install kontact" which was:

The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

     Remove the following packages:

1)     kdepim-doc

2)     ktnef

     Downgrade the following packages:

3)     libfollowupreminder4 [4:4.14.5-1 (experimental, now) -> 4:4.14.2-2
(unstable)]
4)     libkdgantt2-0 [4:4.14.5-1 (experimental, now) -> 4:4.14.2-2
(unstable)]
5)     libkmanagesieve4 [4:4.14.5-1 (experimental, now) -> 4:4.14.2-2
(unstable)]
6)     libkpgp4 [4:4.14.5-1 (experimental, now) -> 4:4.14.2-2 (unstable)]

7)     libksieve4 [4:4.14.5-1 (experimental, now) -> 4:4.14.2-2 (unstable)]

8)     libsendlater4 [4:4.14.5-1 (experimental, now) -> 4:4.14.2-2
(unstable)]

In addition I had to install knode so that newsgroups could be found in
Kontact.

Rob
