Yes, I tried with MATE. Both for Sid amd64 natively, and Jessie amd64 in a VM. [I had just loaded MATE again the other day, because I find I like using it. I normally use KDE but Sid was updated to Plasma 5 and I find it's a bit different than KDE4 was.] > Or another DE? I haven't tried it under any other DEs/WMs so far. I was focusing on MATE because that's where the issue was seen. > Other problems you mention are true, but I don't mention them as it's > more general accessibility problems. I recently had a machine that was having a lot of unexplained Segfaults and hangs, and memtest86+ showed that there was a section of memory that had errors. There's nothing in this report that makes me suspect that's the issue specifically, but if you could run memtest86+ and let it complete one full run that would be good as it would likely rule out a memory hardware issue. -- Chris -- Chris Knadle chris.kna...@coredump.us -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
