I have a kind of a weird one, not sure where to go with it. For the past while, I am unable to shut down or reboot my Dell Latitude laptop. At the end of the day, I have been doing "sudo halt"...
But in the past week or so, I have noticed that when I do this, the system feels obligated to delete my .bash_history. Has anyone seen similar behavior or know of a possible root cause? Thanks, --b
