Hello, I am using KDE in Wheezy and I can't seem to get pop3 with SSL encryption to work properly on a private server. Unencrypted mail works perfectly fine over pop3. I fetch from a private server with a self signed certificate. GMail strangely works well. Whenever I try to connect to the private server, I get:
Error Could not connect to <server>, could not negotiate SSL certificate. I tried doing fetches in Kubuntu 13.10 using POP3 SSL. This works fine. I found a possibly relevent bug in the KDE bugtracker here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155067 I should note that the error message itself was different than mine, but the symtoms were the same. I would like to file a bug report, but I am new to this and not sure what to include. What more information do I need before I get started?
