...the update yesterday to 4.3 (btw - great job!) did not solve my problem (which is was hoping it would do :( ). Where das KDE store application to icon mappings? I created a new user and the problem still exists (e.g. okular icon is not shown - neither in krunner nor when starting okular). since nearly all packages where updated yesterday, it must be s.th. configuration specific - systemwide.
