I am trying to use Konstruct to compile Kde 3.4 on a woody system. The problem is that I don't have root access and the system doesn't have the libbz2-dev package installed, and the administrators won't lift a finger to help me get it installed.
So I tried installing my own version in ~/local. I compiled the shared object files as well. The binary seems to work fine. However konstruct can't find the header file for the library, which is located at ~/local/include. So it stops before compilation of kdebase and kdelibs starts with the error: You're missing bzip2 development files. make[2]: *** [configure-work/kdelibs-3.4.0/configure] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/amd/kirstine/bdisk/97/andersa/forkde4/konstruct/kde/kdelibs' make[1]: *** [dep-../../kde/kdelibs] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/amd/kirstine/bdisk/97/andersa/forkde4/konstruct/kde/kdebase' make: *** [dep-../../kde/kdebase] Error 2 Does anyone know what I can do to make konstruct find these files?
