Hello,

After hours of searching I have finally alsa running on debian sid kernel
2.6.3 (had to disable pci hotplug otherwise other kernel modules were loaded
before alsa could be loaded)

I have two soundcard. One build on the motherboard (i810_audio) and a pci one
(es1371). Both are visible with kmix and I can control both of them. I can
use both of them directly using xmms for instance. But arts is not working. I
have no sound with arts. How can I tell arts to use one of the cards? By
using a /dev/dsp# (#stands for number)

How can I let arts work with alsa ?
