I'm using a 1.4Ghz Athlon. KDE BTS seems to think its something to do with Kate, but I can't find a Kate/Kwrite bug anywhere to find out what is going on, and apparently its been fixed, in CVS at least. The bug is #78938. I'd rather not compile from source to fix this. Anyone got clues as to when updated versions of the kdebase/kdelibs packages will be put in the unstable repository?
