I've got the Benq DVD writer 800A (i think it is), it should write dvd+r and dvd-r without any problems. Writing dvd+r works after some tricks (k3b thinks it's a cdr with ~300 MB, so not a DVD+r), but I can't write the DVD-R, because k3b think it is not a medium at all. Any hints?
