KMail would not send the mail in the Outbox until I deleted the messages, re-created them, and sent them again.
Immediately after this episode, all mini-icons (the ones beside my mail messages), appeared with little question marks on them. I do not know what this indicates. Help? -- Comments are appreciated, Bob
