But then you can't run mozilla from backports.org which is very annoying. Has anyone tried to recompile qt froms source with having a new version of libfreetype installed? This should solve the problem, shouldn't it? And wouldn't it be sensible to include a dependency libfreetype <=... in the qt package for kde 3.2 to prevent other people from running into the same errors... Best regards, Christoph
