The same thing happened to me. I have a different relocation error, but kmail
still won't start. I am speculating that my problem happened when I updated
libc6, although I don't know for sure. I am waiting until all of 3.1.4 gets
checked into unstable and I will upgrade then.
I guess that this is the risk we take when running mixed versions, not
everything always works. In reality, I am very impressed how few problems
there really are. It is a reflection of the overall coordination, policy
decisions, and implementation of the volunteers that package things.
