Hi, I am running samba and KDE from sid and authentication to other systems stopped working. The authentication dialog comes up (btw, why doesn't the cursor blink in the password field? This is totally annoying!) but the values stated there are all empty. Entering the pass, the dialog comes up again and again and...
The work-around: smbclient -L host -U username and entering the same password once, works. Obviously, samba has some caching and from now on smbkio works. Any recommendations?
