For KaZaA : if you have high bandwidth, try lmule/xmule. If you really need kazaa, try this : http://p2pfr.free.fr/linux/fasttrack/kza.linux.tar.gz It use VERY OLD libs (like ncurses4 :-/ ), but you will find them in the debian pool. Be careful to potential security issues.
